Tehol meanwhile slips a leash over K'rull so he didn't run off and try and attack the things before raising his and firing at one of the closer creatures.

Damien opened the door only dressed in his shorts. He looked at Justine and raised an eyebrow. “Do you know people are sleeping here. I was just about to lift an emerald the size of my hand worn on a necklace between the breasts of... well that isn’t really important to the story.” He suddenly looked at her. “Something is dreadfully wrong isn’t it. What did N.T. do?”

Justine didn’t even react to his general nudity or lewd story. “There’s a sea monster. Get above decks!” She relayed the news breathlessly before going to the next door and knocking. “And put on real pants!”

“There is a sea monster?” Damien replied. “What do you expect me to do? Pick it’s pockets?” He looked at the ceiling above him. “How big is it?” He strike the bit of hair above his chin in contemplation.

Justine raised her fist to knock again and shot Damien a withering look. “Do you want my gun?” She asked flatly. “Help out or something.”

“No. Guns are a crude weapon.” Damien walked back into his room and went to his pack. He pulled out a several pieces of wood and began to assemble them. “I prefer a weapon of style. Something I can fire from the ground floor with a grappling hook attached. Or use to dispatch a foe silently in the night. Something that won’t draw people’s eyes. Something beautiful and strong.” He finished working on it and stepped back into the corridor. He was holding a cross bow and had twenty strapped across his chest on a bandolier. “I call him Victor.” He held it up for her to see. Then started to to the deck.

Archimedes had been on deck when all hell broke loose and poor Lenny be taken by the tentacle. For a brief minute he was thorn between sketching the thing and actually doing something. He might not have liked the kid much, but he had been charged with his safety, and if anything happened to him it was his responsibility. Archie had to honor the kid's death.
"FUDGE!" The old man cried running around the deck, going through the stuff in his suitcase. "Sabrina, go below decks. Lenny, I'm coming for you."
"Nigel, drink this!" He passed beside the adventurer, handing him an Elixir of the Nightstalker. It should be a good boost for aiming that arquebus of his.
"Let's hope you will do..." He kissed the small flask with a blueish white liquid inside and threw it at the pseudopod. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, YOU DIRTY... What the heck are you even?"

Having completed her objective, Justine drew her arquebus, made sure it was loaded, then clambered back up onto the deck on Damien’s heels. “I don’t know, I rather like the boom. Feels like you really mean it.” She was ready to blow the thing out of the water.

Damien walked out onto the deck holding his crossbow and looked around for the sea monster. He looked up into the rigging and contemplated climbing up into it but decided against it for the moment. “It is all about precision, I am afraid. Power means nothing if not properly applied.” He looked about for this sea monster and was prepared to fire if he laid eyes on the fell beastie.

Nigel felt a disturbance in the force, as if there was sexual innuendo occurring he was not involved in.
"If this doesn't have alcohol in it, doctor, I will be very very wroth," Nigel warned Archimedes as he popped the stopper off the flask and downed it's contents. If it was poison...well...better men had tried to test the constitution of the Adventurer Extraordinaire and he was still kicking. Then he reloaded his arquebus and fired again.

Thalia walked onto the deck calmly and observed what was happening, she brought her staff up from the cabin, but did not take it off of her shoulder, instead she assessed the situation and bent her arms with her palms facing upwards. Her hair started to fly around like unseen gusts of wind were affecting her and the tips of her hair changed to a cool blue colour, as her eyes glowed, the blue getting even bluer as she attempted to boil the creatures alive.
Hydrokenisis.

Nigel downs the liquid as a blue flask flies towards the water, slamming the strange crustacean and turning it into a sickly pinkish color. More begin rising next to it as Nigel and Justine fire another loud shot. Arrows fly from the beastmaster and the Thieflord aimed his crossbow. As the missiles make impact the creatures shriek like boiled lobsters. It takes a second for the crew to realize they are in fact functionally being boiled lobsters. The seawater hisses and cracks and bubbles as a rather large portion of it begins boiling. The waves crash and some of the boiling water pours over the railing but everyone dodged the sudden spray of water.
Two of the shrimp’s tendrils wrap along the railing on the other side and they begin to rapidly curl back into a spring, pulling them straight up and onto the deck.
Nigel gains 20 strength Jon finished off the first shrimp 42 damage to second shrimp 16 damage to third shrimp Every shrimp on starboard side taking 10 damage/round from boiling Melee combat beginning next round

Justine blasted her shot at the sea monsters and grinned. Bloodlust filled her eyes as the creatures writhed in agony as they tasted lead and were simultaneously boiled alive. And yet they still shot tendrils over the side to grab at the other passengers.
She tucked the arquebus into her belt and swiftly drew her sword and dagger, aiming to chop through the tentacles and make calamari out of them.

As the shrimp-like creatures come onboard of the ship, Archiemedes tries to get a better look at them, hoping to spot any potential weaknesses to be exploited. He is not sure if he has seen anything like this before, but he would have to delve deep into the massive bestiary that was his mind.
Meanwhile, he moved over to the side to help the Sorceress deal with climbing monsters. Archie once again hurled a blue liquid grenado at the the their invertebrate assailants.
[Observation 70] [Cryptozoology: Archimedes may use his observation skill on strange animals and monsters to attempt to discern weaknesses. If allowed to study a dead specimen this skill is modified by +30] [Ice Greanados (at lvl 2)]

The strange beasts clearly think, as they make efforts to dodge the line made by a ranged weapon’s aim, and while their hard outer shells are near invincible to damage as indicated by spanging sounds made by pistol shots, the underbelly is relatively weak.
Also given the chance whatever Thalia is doing is clearly having an effect. They don’t wish to become Fajita mix.
