The men looked at her. “Well then, yer comin’ with us to go get him. He ran to Havgrim’s Eye or my name ain’t Samael Shipbreaker!”

“Do you have a sorcerer at hand?” she asked. “Because I already shot him and he...” she gestured at the cafe.

“You ever killed a wizard?” The pirate said, as the men formed a circle around her to start heading to their boat. “They only got so many spells before they get tired. And that is one hell of a spell, so he running for his life. That’s how mooks like is gotta kill wizzies. They got brains, but we got heads.”
Kjell does see the captain of the Odyssey and some crewmen not far away.

“Not one like that,” she said, frowning. “Have you?” She stepped to the side so as not to let them surround her. “How are you even going to find him without another mage? Go into the jungle and shoot up every bird you see?”

“He went to Havgrim’s Eye, I guarantee it,” the man said. “There’s some weirdos out there he’d fit right in with. And you can identify him so come on now. You already done pissed him off and shot him, don’t pretend your business was concluded to your satisfaction neither. A woman don’t shoot a man lest she desires him to visit his ancestors on a one way trip.”

“He has friends. You want to end up like them,” she nodded at the cafe, “be my guest. I’m not going anywhere without a good caster.” She rested her hand on the wizard’s pistol.

The men all looked at each other. “Moyra!” They all said at the same time. “We got a wizard who can help us even if she’s pricey.”

She drank more whiskey and tossed the empty bottle to the side. “Fuck it,” she said, and shuffled through her pockets. “I have two gold,” she offered.

The men just blinked at her response. A few sailors came up to go look at the pistols. “Right then, well let’s go!” The pirates start heading down. They seem to have assumed she would just follow.

As she heads away she runs into the captain and a few of her sailors. The blonde woman nodded and walked into a haberdashery. Haberdasheries are more common than any other shop in pirate town.

Kjell nodded to her and proceeded towards the Odyssey, actively avoiding the pirates she’d... conversed with. Halfway down, the whiskey kicked in and turned her gait a bit more sailory.

Around two hours later, Kjell returned with companions. Having said nothing on the way up, she now nodded at the cafe sitting on the edge of the tall rock they were on, and said, "Over there."

Some truly depraved individuals had looted the bodies that friends and family hadn’t removed, and so only four bodies remain. The old weird weapons merchant is smoking a pipe and looking out to the west as the rains begin to the East. He looked at the trio but didn’t say anything. Kjell sees a few people farther down the way and about thirty feet higher up the rock wearing the same color clothing that Archelaus had. They don’t seem to notice the new arrivals yet as they’re huddling under another shop’s patio. The wind’s kicking in and gusts have hit about fifty miles an hour. The rattling stair cases connecting the buildings make footing uncertain.

"Up there," she said, nodding at the people on the rock. "I think they might be with him."
