Tehol just mutters as he pulls his jacket over him against the wind and rain. "That's one thing we are good at I guess, getting into fights." He mutters as he walks down to the dock and hurries off to the tavern.

Shortly after the roar of the cannon an equally deafening primal yawp echoed from beneath the tarp.
"NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGEL THOOOOOOOOORNHEAAAAAAART!" he cried to the heavens as he climaxed, a defiant call to the gods above that he was still virile, still youthful, and still legendary. "Well that was certainly explosive," he remarked, as he stepped from the balmy confines of the hotboxed tarp into the rain, naked as his name day. "What was that, captain?" he asked, as he stretched. He glanced to Tehol's new pet as the pair ran down the docks. "And what the bloody fuck was that?"

“Enemies are coming,” Demeter deadpanned as she drew her sword.
“Somebody has to,” Elise grumbled with a red flush.
“Now hurry your horny asses up and get ready for a fight!”

Nigel hurriedly donned his armor, and lined up Little Nigel against the incoming wave of pirates. Elise had just gotten the cannon warmed up. This time he loaded in grape shot to thin the herd.
"After battle victory celebration in the captain's quarters?" he suggested to Captain Demeter and Elise as he sent the cluster of iron balls flying. He was in fine spirits now. The only thing better than post battle sex was a post sex battle.

Demeter looked at him then just shrugged at the distraction. For the moment the enemies are too close to Nigel’s allies for him to risk firing without hitting them...unless that wasn’t a primary concern. A shot spangs off the deck near him and Elise an downstairs to either get new clothes or some sort of magical thingymabob to shoot back.
Nigel can be a bit of a blow hard but few have more actual battle experience than him and he quickly assessed that they’re fairly outnumbered but the hurricane winds and firepower advantage both favor them as their enemies are more spread out. To the East the tavern is under assault while to the west the gangplanks connecting buildings is facing imminent collapse.

Nigel hastily swapped the grapeshot for round shot and fired at the gangplank connecting the buildings, hoping to slow the enemy reinforcements.

-20 for poor visibility and the rocking of the ship (Nigel isn’t used to naval gunnery)
Shot 1: 57 Shot 2: 111
Nigel’s first shot goes wide and nearly hits the tavern, but he gets used to the jerking movements of the Odyssey and his second shot hits the ramp itself and snaps one of the walkway boards in half. It will make any attempt to descend it much more dangerous in the storm.

Nigel keeps laying down artillery fire on the ramp, attempting to destroy it as well as deter any reinforcements trying to use it to reach the rest of his party.
"Fire in the hole!" he bellows, as he bombards the wooden structure. "Speaking of, Elise, get your ass back up here!"

“Fuck you!” She called back, as the sorceress came back onto deck in a shift covered by a thick wool cloak. She has the hood pulled up to keep the rain from her eyes and her hair is a curly madness. A lead projectile struck a sailor in the foot near her and she grumbled something unintelligible. She touched the bloody footprint and rubbed her fingertips together, and a bluish spearman materialized from the deck. She pointed at the people on the rock.
The knight nodded and stared wordlessly at the snipers then flew through the air at the pirates. Elise kept grumbling as the crew heard a strange gurgling sound coming from the tavern...and all their comrades came bursting out the door.

"That's the spirit!" he replied jovially.
Now Nigel elected to load the grapeshot and angled the cannon to cover the retreat of his compatriots.

Nigel unceremoniously dumped Damien belowdecks on the Odyssey, bellowed “MEDIC!!!”, and charged back the way he had come into the fray.

Ceutinde knelt over the injured King of Thieves, inspecting his injuries (Medical 70) and no doubt noting the sucking wound from a giant magical snakebite. If the wound is poisonous, she first cast Clean the Blood to remove the poison; if not, she cast Gift of Sylveria to heal him 30 HP.

153 medical
The elf sees that the king of thieves is losing blood from eleven individual puncture marks and based on a slight smell of mercury there’s definitely a toxin involved. She casts her spells (-3 mana). (-10 health) and gets the familiar nosebleed. The churning of the ship and water makes her feel slightly ill as well. A sailor comes to help keep her steady.

Damien opens his eyes and looks around. "Well... that stung quite a bit. It was exactly like being stabbed in the gut. I did not expect to survive that again." He reclined and looked around the deck, "I suppose some one should carry me to bed. We do not want to damage the good work you did Ceutinde. I can feel the magic working inside of me. It is very pleasant. Like having a warm, bubbling mineral bath inside of me." He nodded, "You are my hero... Thank you for your good work."
