“Did you know the facility would be destroyed at the end?” Thalia asked her, Impressed by the dragon, but not struggling to crowd it the same as Herneiros.

Herneiros would also like to know if their employees had foreknowledge of their possible doom by an ancient self-destruct sequence. He had stared the Kraken in the eye while battling its pitiful sea goblin slaves... the wizard understood perfectly well how little effort titans put into the welfare of their pets.

The elf pointed up with one finger then looked up towards the red moon, then back down. “No,” she said simply. “I have no idea what that was. I saw the fire coming from the sky but even my parents never mentioned something like that.” To the extent it’s possible to interpret her off-kilter expressions she doesn’t seem to be lying.
She nodded to Zavier who brought the eggs over. She smiled at them a second. “The rest is yours,” she said flatly. “The glass orbs will be of special interest to your academies,” she said to the wizards, then turned to Thalia, “and your mistress.” She shrugged very slightly. “Or study them yourselves. You’re all smart enough to. Now that my siblings are returned it will be good to get back into the world,” she concluded. “There used to be humans who could use my kind’s abilities before the world completely collapsed. I think it’s perhaps time they had a chance to return.” She touches one of the larger eggs. “I have a retreat in your Bastion city. You can all find it if you’re interested. The Countess shall ensure your temporal rewards are doled our on your return to Innuria.”

Silvia looked at the dragon eggs in wonder. She had half a dozen questions she would have liked to ask, but not with the entire group gathered, and not while her broken arm needed tending. Her future as both swashbuckler and bard depended upon it, after all. It seemed that she would need to wait until their return to Bastion before she could pursue the matter.

“My concern, is not with our destruction, but that you were happy to let all the creatures in there loose.”Thalia clarified, at least the people who made the facility put a failsafe in.

Ceutinde, though fascinated with the whole mystical dragon-elf...situation, also saw an opportunity now that they weren't fleeing a demon bat in a temple being swallowed by the earth. She moved to Silvia's side and began poking and prodding at the arm to find the break. "I've got some brandy if you'd like to take the edge off."
She attempted to set the bone (Medical 70), and then cast Gift of Sylveria on the bard.

"Yes, please. I never say no to brandy." Silvia grinned at Ceutinde, grimacing as the elf prodded her injured arm. "I have always found it beneficial when I'm injured. Besides, we can have a drink to celebrate, afterwards."

Searshe shrugged. “If they escaped I would have destroyed them. The tower is what I feared, not the little beasties inside. They wouldn’t survive long outside the Mist anyway,” she assured the sorceress.

Thalia nodded, apparently happy with that response. “What magic did people be able to use that was similar to yours?” She asked

“Supposedly the strongest of them could turn into dragons,” Searshe saod, “but if that was true they died out before I was born. The disciples kept the balance of life here, like we were meant to. My mother told me dragons are the medicine for the planet. If it’s sick we heal it. When we are sick so is the earth.”

Thalia nodded and showed it the green staff, “any idea what this does?” She asked her since she’d not got many answers and wanted thought this might save her studying time.

Searshe looked at it. “It’ll improve your energy efficiency,” she said. “Allow you to cast more spells without wearing out.”
