Silvia went through the hole in the floor and the air felt much hotter than the treasure room above, the air crackling with energy. The hairs on the back of her neck stand up with the static electricity’s tension. The guardians take no notice of her. There’s nothing else in the room save the tubes the guardians and the doorway that looks like an entrance to hell.

She waved up at the others to join her then slowly, and very quietly. began to continue towards the doorway.

She heads toward the doorway and Elise headed down to join her. She heard a gurgling sound like boiling water behind the door but couldn’t see anything through the edges.

"That's interesting." Silvia examined the door to see if it was locked and if she was likely to be able to pick it. After all, she had to do something while she waited for Kjell, Damien and the Hydra to join them.

It’s not secured in any way. She can open it at will.

For one wild moment Silvia debated opening the door straight away but ti would probably be a bad idea to do so without the others for backup. She moved back under the trapdoor. "Damien, Kjell, are you coming down? One of you should probably pass me the hydra. We don't want the poor thing falling down."

Korabas wonders at the woman's audacity to get the snake to climb a ladder. Yeah let him just bite onto the hand rails and lower himself by his jaws.

Kjell looked from Silvia to the giant snake and back again as if unsure if she’d heard right. “Did you just say ‘pass me the hydra’?” she asked.

Korabas looks at Kjell and raises half of it's heads like it was raising an eyebrow and proceeds to hiss confusingly.

She looked at Korabas, just as confused. “Yeah, I honestly can’t tell if this snake wants to be touched or not,” she said, finding nothing wrong with this sentence. “You can try catching it?”

"I will," Silvia said, and fought back a grin at Kjell's innocent comment. "Come on...hydra. Korabas, is it. Down you come, and I'll catch you if I can."
She held out her arms, feeling rather silly talking to a hydra like it could understand her, but, then again, this entire experience was a lot more interesting than the usual drunkards' banter back in the taverns in Bastion.

Kjell nudged the hydra towards the hatch with her boot and shrugged apologetically.

Korabas bares it’s fangs are her at the boot touch but nonetheless makes his way towards the hatch and slithers down the ladder.

Damien had stood silently and watched as they all disappeared down the hatch. Then he silently backed into the hallway alone. He walked to the door locked from the outside and unlocked it easily. He opened the door and said, "I am here to rescue you." He gave his most winning grin to the former prisoner.

Kjell, having not gone down the hatch, looked to Damien and put a hand on his shoulder as he began to leave the room. “This was your idea, are you not following through?” she asked. “We’re not splitting the party further. Either get down the hatch or help them up. Sunshine,” she said, mirroring him from earlier but with none of the humour.
