“That is generous from a woman whose queen pays her room and board,,” Nigel reminded Thalia, before glancing to the Huntsman. “It would be ironic to chide you for favoring a lover, but if everyone agrees to it, very well.” He watched Silvia put the rest of the items in the pile. “Alright let’s draw lots for the remaining order.”

Herneiros whispered, "When Thornheart isn't looking or we'll never hear the end of it."

Thalia looked on in utter shock as people vehemently against this system immediately fell in line at the crack of a whip.

Herneiros whispered, "When Thornheart isn't looking or we'll never hear the end of it." Justine nodded and just stood by next to him trying not to think about him walking around in the nude on the deck of the ship.

Nothing would fill the void in Tehol's heart at the departure of his cuddly pal. He excuses himself and goes to sit down with a drink with his not so cuddly new buddy.

Ceutinde nodded at the request to draw lots, but added, "Some degree of individual reward makes perfect sense, I would still argue. If one kills a monstrous creature and pries gems from its eyes with no assistance from anyone else, clearly those gems are hers by rights. Looting an empty room simply because one opened a door first is a different matter, surely."

“I would argue that while she was off winning glory, which is its own reward, the rest of us were completing the mission,” Nigel replied. “And short changes those of us incapable of taking out a monster single handed, such as the capable healer that just set her arm. I do not speak for my own benefit.”

Silvia rolled her eyes at the thought of that glory-hound Nigel Thornheart mocking her own glory. She wasn't entirely happy with the way the discussion was going but she had secured her goal, the sword, which she had been determined to hang onto for the principle of the thing. If she had to relinquish some or all of the other stuff, she considered it worthwhile, though she would certainly appreciate more loot should the chance come her way.

“I am willing to negotiate on items, but I did not agree to any kind of system, it was never in the contract and as such I am not handing over any of the items I have for a lottery, I do expect to get my share of the general haul though,” Thalia explained calmly, if this had been Nigel’s plan he should have articulated it earlier. She found it laughable that he immediately threw his fairness out the window on choice order, and then turned on her to say her reward should be glory itself, but that was nigel it seemed.

“If you are not willing to hand over any of the items you found then why would you get any share of the general haul for those who have agreed and turned over their discoveries to the lottery?” Nigel asked, perplexed. “You can selfishly choose not to participate and forfeit your share to those who do or turn over what you found. As you said, there was no contract that indicates you are the owed a share of what remains.”

“I’m not talking about the items or the gold from them, but the general gold found from that, I expect to get a share of.” She explained, looking at nigel as if it was obvious, after all, they’d nit have any of it without her. “If you withhold it from me, you are in fact stealing my share, are you not?.”
as Nigel said his last part Thalia quirked an eyebrow, “so you are saying that you are going to withhold my claim on the general treasure found on this, regardless of its practical use? No, I think not Thornheart.”

Silvia sighed and looked around the group. "Before we get any further, shall we talk about the items that we particularly want? That might be beneficial. After all, I staked my claim to the sword some time ago, but I'll bet there are specific items that other people have claimed, perhaps items that are of use only to a few members of the party, so we should discuss that as our next step."

Herneiros considered. "I want the books we found. I can take them to my heart's father and we can use them to understand and perhaps overcome the Mist. Beyond that..."
He frowned. "The globes should go to a capable wizard, even if it isn't me."

Tehol after finding out what the properties of the dagger were from Searshe, goes to see Damien. "Hey, I have this really fun dagger that seems to have some speed and time effects on the wielder according to the Dragon Lady. Just wanted to give it to you as a thanks for being there when K'rull died, you helped me bounce back, and figured you could find some use for it." Damien gave Tehol a big smile and then wrapped his arms around him in a big hug. "Thank you my friend. I am not much of a fighter, but it sounds lovely." He took it and admired it closely. "I promise to find you something lovely. Is there something you want? I can find something for you no matter where it is... or whose bag." He winked at the animal lover.

"I think, I'm good. We shouldn't be stealing from our fellow adventurers." Tehol replies as the mentioned members argue about the things they have constantly.
