Herneiros looked ar Thalia with much interest. "That sounds like a worthy bargain... and it is indeed a long voyage..." He gifted her the globes before turning to Kjell. "Aye, but we'll still need to consult my heart's father. He'll know more about how to find it and perhaps kill it... I would be happy to vouch for you at the compound as a fellow hunter." "Thank you," she replied with a small nod. "I look forward to meeting him." Glancing from Herneiros to the half-human, she deducted the two had more to discuss for some reason (might've been the glass balls being passed between them) and moved away. Having made short work of the rum again, she walked over to their healer once she seemed less engaged with JJ, if ever. She cleared her throat to announce her presence before speaking up. "Just wanted to say... thanks again for sewing up my leg. And for everything you did to help others," she said in Elvish. Compared to pretty much most of her earlier runs with bigger parties, there had been basically no casualties on their side this time around. She raised her empty cup in toast and then lowered it.

Ceutinde smiled at Kjell's thanks, and answered in Imperial for Justine's benefit. "It was the least I could do. Oh!" She started, remembering something, and reached for the pistol still tucked into her belt, handing it to the sniper barrel-first. "I nearly forgot. Never had to use it, so it's still loaded." The healer had clearly never been taught how to handle a loaded firearm.

Kjell instinctively reached out and slowly lowered the gun by its barrel, though the thought of being shot in the face by Ceutinde, after everything, did warrant a smile from her. "That would be a fucked up way to go right now," she said, switching to Imperial and letting go of the gun once it was aimed away from her general direction. "I think you better keep it. Your friend can shoot a gun, perhaps she can teach you," she said, and looked to Justine.

Justine tuned them out For a moment as they spoke together in Elvish. Suddenly she was being addressed again. “Oh, um yes. I’d be happy to help you with that.” She was all smiles again to both of them.

Ceutinde gave a wide grin at that. She'd always rather liked the idea of learning to shoot but never had gotten the opportunity. "Fantastic! Do you know a good shooting range? We might be able to set one up at the HoP&RfOH, if nothing else. And speaking of, Kjell, if you haven't got a place to stay in Bastion lined up, you're more than welcome to take a room."

“Thanks for the offer, but I don’t plan on staying in the city,” she said with the confidence of someone whose magic rifle would surely be repaired in an afternoon or so, and not, say, an entire month. She looked for somewhere to put the empty cup.
