All apologies for Ceutinde, the absolute ritziest inn Bastion has is widely regarded as Anselmo’s, a three story affair sitting on a small hill about a quarter mile from the temples. It is owned by Anselmo de Rien, a retired Reclaimer who had married one of the Emeperor’s cousins years ago. Two centaurs and a dozen heavily armed former marines guard the place.

Silvia didn't want to invite Jenna to the Laurel Wreath so she headed over to Anselmo's, where her sister was staying. They had corresponded by letter for some time but hadn't met up for years, so Silvia found herself feeling strangely nervous as she dressed for the encounter. She chose a frilled shirt of royal blue, with figure-hugging tan breeches tucked into thigh-high boots. She added her hat and her fancy new sword then set out to meet Jenna. Her heart raced as she approached the guards.
"Good day to you," she said. "Could you tell the Lady Jenna that Silvia is here?"

The centaur should guarded the place greeted her politely. “She told us you might show up,” he said. “And you look enough like her. Go on up. Second floor.” He stood you the side to let her pass. Inside Anselmo’s are two spiraling staircases that intertwine, one going to the second floor and the other curling back to the third. A handsome young man is serving drinks at a bar while the richest citizens visiting chat and make small talk.
She sees Jenna’s door, which is identified due to the symbol of Mythan she had hung on the entrance.

She spared a glance for the bar, but no, she would wait until she had spoken to Jenna. It would be rude to greet her sister with a drink already in hand. She strode up to the door and knocked.

It only takes a minute for her sister to open the door. Jenna Raizer has the same dark skin as her youngest sister, with shorter chestnut hair and eyes. She is an inch or so shorter and slightly heavier built due to her training in armor and with heavier weapons than Silvia prefers. “Silvia!” She said excitedly, kissing her cheek. “It’s so good to see you! You look gorgeous! And that sword...” she said as she noticed the dragon’s blade. “You’ve been busy.” She ushered her in. “Come on, come on, let’s get a drink.”

"Gladly. I never turn down a free drink," Silvia quipped. She felt her spirits rise when she saw that Jenna was much the same as she remembered. "I dressed up nicely, just for you. I thought you might tell the family you'd run into me and I'd hate for them all to think me dressing like a ruffian. The blade was a lucky find during my last adventure. It's honestly the best weapon I've ever owned."

Jenna nodded. “Well I’m glad you’re not homeless,” she laughed. “But it sounds like you’ve been busy. Me too actually. There’s been some murderer slaughtering wizards and I’m part of the team trying to find him. If you’re bored I’d love having your sword,” she added. “Other than that my friend’s getting married in a few days and I’ve been meaning to get a dress. Know of anyone?” She asked.

"Yes, a few places." Silvia rattled off the names of her favourite seamstresses. "I'll join your expedition if I'm free, but I'm supposed to be going to Edysse. To meet the emperor." She grinned. "That would be an achievement to boast about. Even Coraline would be green with envy, I bet."

Jenna looked in surprise. “The Emperor?” She said. “Mythan’s name that’s something. And here you always wanted to avoid stuffy rich people like us,” she said with a laugh. “But yes let’s go look for a dress if you don’t mind, I’ve really cut it too close already.” She went to retrieve her sword, which has a golden hilt and a pure white blade.

Silvia looked at the blade with admiration. She would have coveted it, if it weren't for her own new sword.
"I quite thought you wanted to see me for something more than shopping. I mean, we've hardly seen one another in years. What if you hated my outfit? You wouldn't have invited me then. And who is this friend, anyway? Another paladin?"

Jenna shrugged. “The joy of shopping, we can talk while we search,” she said. “And you’ve always had an eye for flair,” she said. “I hear tales of the Skylark all over the damned place,” she jested. “And the voice isn’t the only thing they’re discussing.” She filled two glasses with wine. “No,” she said, “my friend is a wizard named Agatha. She’s marrying some man from the Colonies, some spice lord’s son. I think she’s being daft but no one ever listens to the paladin.” She rolled her eyes. “But best to be happy for her right?”

"Oh, yes. If he's the one she wants, she should have him." Silvia gratefully accepted the glass of wine. "But why do you think it's silly for them to marry? Do you dislike the man? Or does your friend not seem the marrying type?"

“He’s strange,” she said. “Not bad I suppose but just...beyond eccentric. I don’t think he will satisfy her between the sheets either.” She shook her head. “The Colonists are their own breed.” She shrugged. “But what have you been up to? While I’ve been pushing papers and hanging bandits it sounds like you’ve really been getting it done. Where did you find that beauty?” She nodded towards the sword.

"I went on a voyage, and found this in a strange tomb. I daresay it belonged to some hero, once upon a time. And now a new hero wields it." She grinned. "I have to admit, my adventures sound much more exciting than your duties, I saw the Nedrassian Serpent, killed a golem, had rampant sex aboard the ship, and met a dragon. And there you go, that's everything up to date."

Jenna listened and her eyes widened at the actual description. “I’m going with you next time,” she said. “You seriously saw the Nedrassian Serpent? I thought that was just made up!” She shook her head. “You’re not messing with me right?”
