Ceutinde giggled at the glamour. "Very nicely done. I was actually thinking the other day that an illusionist would be a smart hire. As it stands, we of course do our best to cater to our clients' desires, but if we could just nudge things a little bit - change our experts' hair to exactly the color the client wants, say, or make the room they're in appear to be somewhere else entirely - it could truly go a long way." Shifting in her seat, she shrugged,"Sounds like fun, but there's a catch of course." As she began the rest of her reply the golden goblet illusion began to fade and it was once more a common drinking glass. "That, is the catch,"pointing at the dissolved object,"It doesn't last very long." "My illusions last long enough for me to be able to flee from my enemies or sneak past them in stealth." Playing with the glass,"One of the reasons I wanted to try my hand at being a Reclaimer."

Justine applauded quietly. It was a bit of whiplash, to go from one thing to another so quickly, but she supposed that one couldn't dwell on bad things for too long. Anyhow...
"Even with the catch, I'm impressed. All I do is stab a few things now and then." She fondled the rose and thorn hilt of her familial sword. "Can you help other people sneak as well? I imagine...can you go invisible? Not that I've ever been involved in a heist or anything," she said as she thought about the recent heist.

"Invisible... Sort of. It's more or less I can blend in with whatever is behind me. I've never really tried to use the illusion on anyone else before, never thought about it." Tanyth made a small frown, thinking. Her eyes then met Justine's and she smirked,"I have... I fancy myself a pretty good thief when the need arises and money needs to be made."

"I..." She had wanted for nothing since she had taken up with Ceutinde, and her familial coffers were full, but her body still cried out for more. Security was too new and she found it hard to trust. Instead, she just kept the smile on her face. "I might have to take you up on that sometime. Ceutinde is right, our little band of merry adventurers is lacking someone with your particular skillset.

She smiled lightly at Justine,”I’m looking forward to it.” Finishing her drink, Tanyth rolled the glass with her fingers. She mulled over the whole team concept again and nodded,”Why the hell not! I’m all yours.”

As the adventurers talk, the door opened and guards usher some patrons away while the patients are wheeled in. There is a strange, faint acrid smell in the air. The white robes wheeling the sock little girl look expectantly for directions. The girl is awake and looking around in confusion.

A rugged stranger in a gray ulster, white frilled shirt, and black traveling pants, looked up from his drink. He had been there for some time, occasionally grumbling to the bartender about the subpar employment of the magic market these days. He was, after all, a grand necromancer and no, dead people don't pay handsomely.
Now he was no longer discussing the cost of talking to the dead and was now focused on the possibly dying.

Ceutinde looked toward the door in confusion. "Are you out of your damned minds?!" She hissed at those bringing in the patients. "You don't bring the sick into a crowded bar!" Stooping down to the little girl's level, her voice shifted to be as soothing as she could manage. "Hello, darling. Everything's going to be all right. We just need to get you down to the sick wards, and then we'll get everything fixed up."
She stood back up, shot the orderlies a glare, and led them downstairs to the hospital.

The attendants endured the beratement without comment and took the patients below. The comatose man shook now and again in some sort of involuntary convulsion, while the little girl looked about with rheumy eyes. “I don’t feel so good,” she said. Her skin was a strange purplish-blue like she was being asphyxiated.
Ceutinde’s two best doctors await the pair and begin setting them up. One just looked to the elf and then shook his head in confusion.

"I know, dear. But we'll get you fixed up and better just as soon as we can." Ceutinde told the little girl as they went downstairs.
"I suspect it's magical," She told the doctors, "If this doesn't work, we'll know for sure." She turned to the unconscious man, him seeming to be in the worse state, and whispered a prayer to Sylveria to cleanse him of the strange sickness.

The man’s pallor fades considerably, but as the infection clears the blood it seems to erase the blood itself, leaving the man a withered husk within less than a minute.

Ceutinde paled and her eyes went wide, looking from her hands to the man. "That...what? That shouldn't..." Desperate, she reached to find a pulse, but didn't have much hope.

Meanwhile, Silvia looked around, wondering. She had no skill at tending to the sick and she was, if truth be told, terribly afraid of becoming sick herself. At the same time, she couldn't bring herself to turn and walk away. She looked around for someone who knew more than she did about what was going on.

Tanyth didn't believe what she just witnessed. Where did they come from and what the hell was wrong with them?! She felt the need for another drink, hoping that they would be alright in Ceutinde's care.

The man is long gone, his skin a hollow sack now that the blood has apparently drained completely out. She released his soul into whatever ether awaited them all, and had the sudden rush of ropes and knots enter her brain. Despite her usual interests, this specifically involves the complicated rigging that goes into the operation of a fast sailing vessel. (May use sailing at 70 skill once) One of her doctors shook his head. “This could be a catastrophe,” he said. “We have to study the final victim and figure out what’s going on fast.” Archimedes, her second doctor, shook his head. “Study could kill her. We shouldn’t risk harm. We need to study the origin of this to facilitate a cure.”
