The woman didn’t seem as surprised by his interrogation as he may have hoped. “The fact I did all that would seem to be points in favor of my innocence,” she said. “You aren’t the first one come knocking on the door looking for answers. If you think I’m comfortable here, clearly you’ve never met anyone who likes money, darling. Comfortable is losing. Gerald Lockhart paid a lot more than comfortable. He was a bit of a disgusting troll, but I’ve fucked plenty worse for plenty less gold.”
She raised a finger. “I’ll tell you what I told the other guy, though. He said he had another...what word did he use, paramour he was meeting after our hour together. Some basement club, Apparently. I think it was on the east side of town.”

I think it was on the east side of town.” Geoffrey studied her mannerisms and tore apart her story detail by detail. If Lockhart was headed east, he clearly didn't make it far at all if he was found dead so very close to his encounter with Lacey. But perhaps she was innocent and someone else had been following behind. Geoffrey tried to let her mannerisms and the evidence speak for themselves. There is no visible indication she is lying. She displays none of the trademark tells he senses almost unerringly, even if she doesn’t seem overly bothered by recounting the story of her last interaction with him.
+1 observation

"I believe you."
Which meant someone had been following her...
"Who arranged the rendezvous?"

Lacey shrugged. “Probably his cousin Deiphobus,” she said. “He’s the pervert Lockhart. But his pockets are as deep as his equipment is small, if you catch my drift.”

"You... don't know who contacted you? Was it a letter or a messenger?"

Lacey sighed and rummaged through a drawer until she found a letter to hand him. It had the Lockhart seal on the envelope. The letter inside just listed her price and the meeting spot. “Nobles don’t usually come here to set up their own arrangements,” she said. “It’s beneath their dignity.” That last had a hint of amusement behind it.

He examined the letter before secreting it away. It was already plenty to work with.
"Thank you."
He handed her a rather generous sum of money. "That's for your silence..." A somewhat less impressive sum but hardly cheap. "...and that's for the next hour of your time. I prefer to go slow if that's fine with you..."
He began removing his boots.
