In the days before the world collapsed armadas sailed the world, seeking trade and plunder and land. Colonies were started on land masses on islands and continents, formed by exiles and adventurers, poets and priests.
Fifteen years ago the first two came back to Innuria, the archipelago of Eddisia forming a vast confederation of two dozen islands, sending ten thousand men and women to help hold back the Most, assisting with the construction of the great fortress of Hammerfall.
The second colonists to return came a year later, from the far west continent of Lisandre, led by the Sorceress-Queen Melreth. Their vessels established a foothold on the islands west of Krakenhal, their goods and spices flooding Innurian markets in exchange for the dwarves’ metallic knowledge.
