Tehol and his fluffy companion make their way to the ship having had to ask for directions multiple times looking for the right ship.
Once he does finally manage it, he approaches the woman fishing on the dock. "Is this the Oddysey? He says making sure it was the right one. "The ship going on some grand adventure, that I'm supposed to be on. Any particular rules before getting on board?"

The woman is pulling a small rockfish in as she answers. “I’m the captain so don’t what I say when I say it. Make sure your...aww he really Is adorable...but make sure it doesn’t shit on the deck,” she added. She puts the fish on the deck and slaps it with a hammer to stop its flopping. “Hope you don’t get seasick,” she added.

K'rull who at the same time as being complimented, thought it would be a good idea to approach the other dead fish on the deck and attempts at stealing one..
Meanwhile his owner, smooths his beard slightly while musing, "Is there somewhere else you would like him to shit... In the cabins, perhaps? Or will I have to dangle him over the edge while he does his business.."

“Don’t you have, perhaps, a box or something?” She asked. “Or a bucket. Or anything that isn’t my perfectly swabbed deck?” She doesn’t seem to mind as K’Rull eats a fish.

"He usually just kind of finds a patch of grass or some flowers, now that I think on it. Maybe wants to help fertilize them or something." He includes with a shrug. "I'll think of something then. Maybe an empty barrel will do."

The captain nodded then scratched the creature’s ear and let them in their way. The weather is bright and sunny and the breeze is coming in steadily from the East as the ship loads.

Tehol drags K'rull away from the other fish and makes his way onto the boat to find an empty cabin for him and the fluffy nightmare.

Thalia arrived, in nice sturdy looking adventuring clothes. In shades of purple and black with a bag for supplies and clothes, her staff wrapped up and her harp, she approached the captain and asked for her cabin allocation.

The captain was done fishing now and just puffing on her pipe. “Right right, I’m Demeter,” she said. “You’re gonna have to bunk with that lady in green. Elise I think. You’re both wizardy looking types though so don’t like sacrifice any goats or shit in your room please.” She grinned. “But welcome aboard. Your cabins the one with the beds stacked on top of each other. Got a bit more elbow room at least.”

Thalia nodded and thanked the woman and headed back. She thought she’d over heard that the woman in green was from the sane land where she was which could be good or bad, “sacrifices aren’t my bag, but I’ll keep that in mind” she said, attempting some levity, she wasn’t always one fir jokes, but she’d be on the ship with these people for a while, so best make friends, that was one if the reasons she was here. She headed to her cabin and put her stuff on the free bunk if one was taken, or the bottom bunk if not.

The bottom bunk is hers. A few minutes later she heard some grunting and clanging and then Elise entered with a big muscular man carrying a truly ludicrous amount of bags and equipment in. He sighs as he finally gets it on the ground and the sorceress yawned as though she had carried it herself. “Thank you so much my dear. Here’s your silver now run along.”
“But you promised-“ the man stuttered and she held up a finger.
“I lied my sweetling. You smell worse than those dead fish did.” She shooed him off then closed the door. “Men,” she said dismissively. She looked at the pile of stuff and made a motion with her hands and pointed to the dresser, then opened it and somehow shoved every piece of gear except her staff and a bright red cloak into it. “I’m glad I got you as a roommate,” she said. “You kept quiet last night which already made you my favorite.”

Post by Dr. Archimedes Steller on Jul 1, 2020 1:13:19 GMT
"If this ain't a great day for sailing!" Archimedes made his way onto the deck, taking a deep breath of the fresh noon air of the docks. He wore his trademark beige outfit, with short shorts and a many-pocketed coat over a yellow shirt. His head, adorned with a pith helmet. He carried his own suitcase, but behind him two interns struggled with massive wooden trunks.
"Be careful with that, boys. We won't be able to get more of that glassware where we are going." He said, smiling at the two interns, whose names he had not yet memorized. "Get ready for the journey of your lives. You never forget your first time expeditioning."
"If those aren't Tehol and my dear K'rull." Archie waved over at his friend's son. He opened his suitcase and started searching for a pet snack. "What does he take, Tehol? Sardines? Beef jerky? Maybe some candy?! I'm sure I have a chocolate bar somewhere in here."

Justine had bid farewell to her erstwhile companion the beautiful Lady Ceutinde and rejoined her more usual compatriot Demetrius. Together they approached the Odyssey, as the Tranquility was full. She didn’t mind too much, and she knew he was glad to have her back at his side.
She carried her few belongings in a pair of knapsacks, bedroll tied underneath the larger one, and her sword strapped to her hip. Her clothing was simple and practical: a grayish dress with slits up both sides for movement under which she wore close-fitting black pants and much-blacked boots that laced to the knee. The belt that held her sword was cinched right at the waist, keeping the loose dress under control. Over that she wore a light jacket with long loose sleeves made of thin silk. It was the prettiest and least practical item she owned but even it was worn in places.
She skipped up the gangplank and looked around for someone to direct them to a cabin or wherever they were meant to stay.

Tehol grins over at the doctor, "He takes flesh, usually. He might enjoy this jerky of yours though."

Post by Nigel Thornheart on Jul 1, 2020 3:54:15 GMT
Clad in full battle regalia, Nigel Thornheart made his grandest entrance yet, wheeled down the docks astride a cannon. The barrel of the breech loading artillery piece was approximately 4 feet long, had a caliber of 2 inches, and weighed over 400 pounds With each shot it used .5 pounds of black powder to fire a 1 pound round shot or grapeshot approximately 5,000 feet. It's iron surface was pockmarked and scoured from use in countless battles, but gleaming gold engraving stretched the length of its barrel, only two words:
Little Nigel
Straddling his storied legendary cannon (and thinly veiled phallic symbol) which had been immortalized in his memoirs, Nigel looked up at the captain, ready to embark on yet another adventure. "I do hope you have room for Little Nigel in your hold...and for Big Nigel in your cabin! Aha!"
(Seduction 50) (How Do You Like Me Now?!: Nigel has a two step bonus to heterosexual women or homosexual men he’s never met)
