Nigel wrestles Tehol to the ground as he dropped his dead friend off the side. The wounded man is too weak to fight much. Elise came up and put her hand on Tehol’s forehead and he fell asleep with dreams of K’Rull eating Nigel and his godforsaken books.
Demeter didn’t say anything as Archimedes talked, just looked at the blood and guts everywhere. “I’m not even making the cabin boy clean this shit up,” she said with quiet menace in her voice. She looked disgusted and turned on her heels and headed back to the deck to calm down as her sailors scooped the shrimp up to toss it over the side.
Nearly unnoticed is Sabrina, furiously scribbling everything in her notebook.

Nigel disarmed the unconscious Tehol. "Captain, through my peerless deductive reasoning, I have discovered our moles. I would recommend Archie and Tehol be confined to the brig until we reach port and discern their true loyalties. It was at this point he looked at his arm. "I appear to be bleeding. Medic!"

“Port?” She said. “No, you’re all getting dropped off right where I was told to drop you all off. What happens after that is exactly not my concern...” she looked at his bleeding forearm. “Davies! Help the conquering hero get his armor off then give him some laudanum. By some i of course mean an entire bottle. I need silence for a while.” She took a drink from her flask and sat behind the wheel in apparent disbelief. “And the next word the alchemist says costs him a god damn finger.”

As Captain Demeter did not seem to want to take precautions for the good of the ship and crew, Nigel tied the unconscious Tehol to the mast of the ship.

Tehol dies due to complications of sleeping while having a concussion.

Seeing Tehol was not looking well, Nigel force fed him a mixture of The Adventurer’s Musk, Thornheart’s Thorn Straightening System, and Nigel’s Ritual of Manly Youth like a middle aged housewife hawking essential oils as a cure all for everything. He did not know if it would save his life, but the mast certainly wouldn't be the only thing erect on this ship.

Seeing his arm was still bleeding and not wanting laudenum, he bellowed "MEDIC!" in the direction of the Tranquility. "Where is that knife eared temptress? MEDIC!"

After an appropriate amount of time, a longboat was rowed over to the Odyssey from the Tranquility, and Ceutinde hauled herself up to the main deck. She appraised the situation, ignored any babbling coming from Thornheart, noted him bleeding heavily and Tehol on the ground, and took a deep breath. "Is he all right?" She asked, pointing at the unconscious beastmaster, "Because I ought to see to the most serious wound first."

Captain Demeter has posted a guard armed with a gun next to Tehol and banned anyone from approaching him save the tall elf. She nodded a greeting but she didn’t look particularly happy.

"Ms. Melchior, were we able to gather anything of importance from this whole fiasco? I saw you were scribbling something." He inquired from the intern. His expression was solemn, but he was past mourning his lost subject. He appeared unflinching in the face of Tehol's purported death. "We might have gotten away with it, if it wasn't for those meddling sailors and their stupid Nigel."

Sabrina handed him her notebook quietly. She had started with descriptions of the shrimp and its tensile strength of tendrils and the like...but after that she had sketched Nigel’s armor and weak spots in the joints identified during the fight. It also has K’Rull with a sad face drawn over it.

Hearing no answer, Ceutinde headed for the unconscious one and knelt above him, muttering to herself. "Let's see...definitely a broken nose...guessing some of those teeth used to be there...probably a concussion." She mulled it over for a few seconds. "Like I said...brains are funny things. Best get you magicked." Taking a deep breath and setting her bag aside, she spoke a prayer to Sylveria in elven. Her hands started to glow, faintly, like moonlight, and she touched her fingertips to Tehol's temples.

Standing back up, she felt her back and joints ache. Not so bad, all things considered. The Widow turned back to Nigel and had a look at his wound. "What did this? Looks like claws. Oh, that'll infect." She rifled around in her bag, producing a thick cream that she spread on it, then a poultice that went under a bandage. "Clean all that off in fresh water tomorrow. If it doesn't look septic, just keep changing out the bandage until it's healed. If it does, I'll make another house call."

She has little trouble stanching the blood loss and getting him ready to heal up. He’ll need some recovery time though.

The captain took out a spyglass and watched a moment. “No apparently that quiet elf just doesn’t like whatever they’re having for dinner. Everyone else looks fine.” She chuckled and offered Thalia the spyglass. “I admit, your presence here makes me think it’s the Queen of Lisandre who hired us all. Both of yours,” she added, including Elise in it. “Not that I care. I’d work for anyone for what I got paid.” “Perhaps-“ Thalia started but was cut off by the commotion as Demeter left to see what was going on. “I don’t even want to think about what it happening around here, this is honestly a very shoddy team” she muttered, perhaps she should have stayed in Lisandre, maybe this was a punishment from Melreth for wanting to get out and see the world, be careful what you wish for, she leaned back against the side if the ship and watched with silent surprise as one of the morons walked on deck with a decapitated head, tried to jump off, only to be thwarted by another and tied to the mast. She noticed the head was that of Tehols animal companion and felt a twang if pity that was easily pushed down. This was going to be a long trip. after a while, someone from the other boat appeared and she half wanted to ask if there was space for her aboard the tranquility, aptly named by comparison, “what exactly happened down there,”mshe asked Demeter.

Demeter lit her pipe and sat down heavily, loading her pistol and shaking her head, muttering to herself. “The god damn alchemist found a fucking shrimp somehow and it went wild, so Nigel went to kill it and that beastmaster got in the way then he killed his pet and...oh fuck it. My advice for you? Keep them all where you can see them when I disembark all of you. There’s a lot of insanity in this group. I don’t know what Maia was thinking.”
