The dwarves pointed at the black dagger. “This one,” the shorter one said. “The same one everyone comes to take. From whenever and wherever they can.” The other dwarf nodded as though that was some great truth. “When are you from? Ain’t seen an elf since two weeks from now!” “What the hell do you mean when?” Tehol states slightly worriedly, “It’s [Todays in character date]. What’s up with the dagger, why would so many people try and come for it and if so why is it still here?”

Silva yelped as the ground shifted beneath her. It felt strange and disconcerting. She caught her balance easily and ran after Juliette.

The earthquake ends as soon as it began, and Herneiros makes it out of the tunnel without incident. He sees the rest coming toward him in the Mist but otherwise there’s no sign of Tehol and Kjell.

The dwarf chuckled. “When is this? It’s now!” He said. He’d probably used that joke a few thousand times. “This dagger here? Oh,” he chuckled. “This dagger’s called an Estos blade. It’s named after some ancient god or something. It helps keep the dragons out.”

Thalia looked at him, “what happened?” She asked, taken over by the spirit of exposition man, “it’s very irresponsible to run off like that,” what was wrong with everyone.

Silvia headed into the cave and began looking around for items that would be useful to her, and anything that she could donate to her charitable efforts, in the future.

Juliette looked Herneiros up and down. “What did you find in there, that sent you running out so quick? I thought you weren’t afraid of anything.” She stepped in and poked him in the chest with one finger. Hard.
She winked at Thalia.

Silvia headed into the cave and began looking around for items that would be useful to her, and anything that she could donate to her charitable efforts, in the future. She sees the sword Herneiros he left behind in the pile of bones. It has a dragon’s claw on its hilt. The other five sarcophagi are still closed.

Herneiros laughed. "Even the bravest men would rather not be inside a cave during an earthquake. I don't have a spell for dodging mountains."
Well... he probably didn't.

Zavier seemed really out of it. It’s possible the time magic was starting to mess with his mind. “I don’t need to take it. It’s right there. If you want it go ahead and grab it. But... well,” be shrugged, “it might not like you.” Tehol and Kjell heard a loud humming sound coming from outside.

Silvia picked up the sword. She contemplated the remaining sarcophagi for a moment then opened the nearest one. She didn't believe in the undead rising, and besides, treasures were no use with the dead.

Fuck it. Tehol goes to grab the dagger. “Well lets see then.”

Silvia’s lack of respect for mortal remains is at best amoral but it is profitable. The next sarcophagus has a smaller set of bones with a short sword, some throwing knives, and a set of old fashioned lockpicks on it made of what appears to be silver. Judging by the remains of the red silk robe, the bones had belonged to a female.
