“See you outside” Thalia said cheerily as Kjell walked off.

Thalia opened the fifth sarcophagus and it has a corpse lacking a head with a huge cut going from shoulder to hip. The woman’s body has a green metallic staff with some sort of orange gemstone near the top. There’s also a book at her feet but it looks near to disintegration.
Tehol opens his sarcophagus and sees a corpse that had a broken gun in its hands. When the last one opens, every corpse speaks simultaneously. “The fate of traitors,” they collectively say once and then they are silent forevermore.

“Well, that seemed incredibly rehearsed” Thalia said, looking around as she used detect magic on hers to see if there were any curses or to work out what her stuff did.

“Perhaps it’s the belief if their people you only have what your buried with in the afterlife and the removal of these are condemning the occupants to a miserable existence for all time.” She suggested, nodded to the two who appeared as if she wasn’t phased at all then looked into one of the unopened sarcophagi, clearly herneiros hadn’t searched very hard. Silvia shrugged. "I can't think like that - I can't afford to. I've poor people to feed. They need blankets and medicine too, cooking pots and all sorts. I can't let them all down, can I?" She shivered when the dead spoke then spoke in a false, bracing voice. "That was odd!"

Tehol does a quick little search looking for more then a broken gun which he pockets before he scoffs, He grabs the dwarf's chain before leaving the dead to their resting places heading outside.

“Yes, you can, or are you the leader of your country? Do you have an obligation to them?” She asked raising an eyebrow at her, Thalia personally believed philanthropy stemmed ultimately from selfishness, famous singer giving back to raise her profile, politician doing the same to win hearts and minds, it was all a con, at least Lisandre was honest. “Ultimately, you’re stealing, that doesn’t belong to you.”she said as she grabbed the magic artefacts.

Tehol slaps her hand away from his belt as she goes to reach for his new magical dagger. He has no idea what it does yet, but it will be found out in good time in a couple posts most likely.

Silvia shrugged. "Tell that to every monarch and every general you meet. Conquerors take what isn't theirs, and most of them only care about lining their own coffers. No, you shan't guilt me into putting these things back. The dead cannot claim ownership."
She lifted the dragon claw sword and the heavy greatsword.
"I swore a vow to help the people who cannot help themselves. A vow to myself, not to any god, but I'll keep it so long as there is breath in my body. It's what I do."

Juliette got bored of waiting for Herneiros to be useful. He probably got off easily honestly. She was very spooky.
She stalked toward the cave a few moments after Thalia and Ceutinde only to see Kjell pop out. “So I guess it didn’t collapse and crush everyone to blood and bone?” She seemed almost disappointed.

The swords, armor, gun, and staff all glow with magic, as does the ring and virtually everything else except the book. She doesn’t sense any evidence of curses, but the Dragon sword and staff in particular give unfamiliar magical vibes. She doesn’t often encounter magic she cannot immediately identify.

Thalia looked at her for a moment and then scoffed, laughing into her hand at the other woman, apparently greatly amused by something, “why are you here then?”
She paused then shrugged, “regardless, I don’t want it, but at some point can I take a look at your sword? There something going on with it, and I’d like to investigate.” She said and took up the staff and the book, as gently as she could.

"You're welcome to look at the sword when we're back on the ship." She started to say something else then realised that she had just blown her cover. "Don't tell the others my purpose, will you? It's not the Skylark of Bastion who does these things - I use another name - and it's better that way. Id rather the rest of our party think me a greedy magpie, honestly."
She smiled hopefully at Thalia.

Thalia looked at her and nodded, it wasn’t worth the energy to tell really, and she gained very little from it, no friends only rubbing Silvia up the wrong way, Lon one will hear it from me,” it was ridiculous anyway,

Silvia was shaken by her error but she hid it as best she could.
"Good. Shall we move on, then? We should regroup with the rest of the party."

Thalia didn’t understand why she’d be so nervous, but shrugged it off, “good idea.” She said and headed out.
