Demetrius pulled the hood on his jacket up over his head to protect him from the rain. “I’m not worried about underlings, or even mistlords,” he said, dismissing the threat. “All you have to do is get me to Lake Arawn like we discussed, I can get past whatever forces stand between me and the answers I seek.” When asked about the origin of his powers, Demetrius tilted his head to the side in a display of confusion. “There was no training, I’ve just always been me.” He said it so matter of factly, dismissing the years of effort and work Herneiros had likely put into his own development as nothing more than child’s play. Whatever powers the hunter had, they weren’t nearly as broad as his own. While obviously not even remotely true, Herneiros’s powers did not (yet) include mind reading. "Still, we should be prepared to leave at a moment's notice. I am going to find some dinner. You should look for shelter for the night. Palerose is supposedly where your Estos-worshipping friends made their debut. Look for a place marked with the name Rosecroft. It's very probable still standing." He paused before adding, "Stay out of the cellar if they have one."

Tehol after abandoning the ritual area he had found and just skulking around following the others continues to skulk and listen to their conversations.

"What appeared to be an old church. So nothing interesting to me." Tehol replies plainly.

"Was it spectacularly ominous or dreadfully dull?"
The question seemed to matter quite a bit to to the Wild Huntsman.

"It was dreadfully ominous in the way that paint drying on a newly built house is." Tehol answers in reply.
