Damien walked back toward the ships carrying a crate of wine. He could not sing a lick so he was humming a merry tune as he approached.

Konrad just blushed at Ceutinde's offer, and it was his turn to look at his boots.

Ceutinde just laughed at his unease. "I'll say three, then. At least one with a bath." She hurried down the ladderwell and emerged a few minutes later with an overnight bag, the hood of her cloak pulled over her head. As she passed the King of Thieves on the pier, she called, "Might want to find somewhere to sleep on shore tonight, Your Majesty. Unless you want a box of broken glass and spilled wine."

Damien chuckled and looked up at the town, "There could be a worse storm up in the village then the one at sea. If you are going up there bring security and trust no one." He laughed, "But since you are not a fool, I am just rambling truth you already know. So I will bow politely and see if I can some straw to encapsulate my loot." He stopped and gave her a graceful bow even holding a crate of wine. "Where are my manners? Would you like a bottle of red wine?" He offered her the choice of a crate.

Justine’s eyes also widened a bit at the implication more than the suggestion as she had slept in crowded beds and worse in her years. “Well uh....good to meet you, Kjell, at any rate.”
She waved to the self-proclaimed king of thieves. “Damien, come along with us. She was just telling us about this wizard.” She barely had time to say that because Kjell was rushing them off immediately.

Ceutinde gratefully accepted the bottle, slipping it into her bag. She split off from the others at the end of the pier, and headed toward somewhere she hopefully saw some rooms to rent while wandering around earlier.

He asked as she walked past quickly with the others. Then sighing he followed them still hauling a crate of wine.

Konrad followed closely behind Justine, and the elf gunfighter. He couldn't help but wonder as he went, whether this could finally be the break through he'd long awaited. An opportunity to finally understand what had been done to his parents.

Ceutinde gratefully accepted the bottle, slipping it into her bag. She split off from the others at the end of the pier, and headed toward somewhere she hopefully saw some rooms to rent while wandering around earlier. She does see an inn, and it isn’t busy at all as they are functionally the only visitors around. Presumably beer and rum were the source of most of its income. Only two people other than the man behind the bar are there, drinking in the corner. She’s about a hundred meters away from the tranquility and half that again from the Odyssey. The bartender looks at the tall elf as she entered and began filling a mug with a tan beer.

"Good evening, sir," she said with a smile, lowering her hood and dripping just a bit, "Have you got any rooms for the night? Some friends and I would rather not spend it on the water, and your place looked like an absolute godsend." Her eyes could make a kicked puppy feel sorry for her. (Charm 70)

Silvia turned up at the inn. Having initially returned to the ship, she realised that she had to find Ceutinde and talk to her about the safety of the precious scale. Although she had spent the night her sailor, and enjoyed herself, she didn't plan to spend the entire voyage that way. Upon discovering that the elf woman had gone ashore, she set off to find her. When she founded Ceutinde, it was at an inn. Silvia waited for the elf to finish her conversation.

The bartender grinned. “Why of course I can help ye our!” He said pleasantly. “We got two rooms upstairs and each got a few beds. Nothin’ fancy but better than puking on some ship. I’ll say uhhh...five silver a person per night. And you don’t get beers from no one but Simon!” He added belatedly.

Ceutinde turned when the door opened and gave Silvia a little wave, but returned to the business at hand before saying hello properly. "Here's one now! We'll take the lot - privacy and all that, you know. And no doubt our fair share of beer." Ceutinde said, pulling out a handful of coins and laying them on the bar. "And not to be a bother, but is there any possibility of a bath for one of us? A dear friend requested it in particular."
