Justine looked at the clothes, but none of them caught her eye. She glanced up at Ceutinde with the necklace. “Sure. Unless it’s cursed. Then I’ll pass.”

Everything in the locker is radiating magic, and the walls, the floor, and the bed. The necklace is enchanted with some form of divination magic.

Meanwhile back at the makeshift base camp, Tehol wakes up and begins exploring more of the area that they didn't get to the night before. Mainly this hill that may or may not exist somewhere nearby.

Tehol and Korabas head up the steep hill using the stairs and railing. At the top he sees the island is nearly completely flat on the plateau, which widens to a half and a half across or so as it heads toward the colossal House of the Sun. From this distance he can see the tops of the minarets and the three top stepped sections of the ziggurat like main structure. There’s very little else in evidence save the strange turquoise colored lake with the bridge that surrounds the campus and extends several miles toward the beastmaster.

Not finding anything particularly of note then, he looks back out towards the ocean and the way they came and uses the elevated vantage point to scan the area around the island. With the ship that was already here, he was checking to make sure that there wasn't anyone or anything else also approaching the island.

The Odyssey is alone in the bay save for the abandoned enemy vessel. He does see a lot of birds flying about the mountains. He has yet to see a single land animal of any sort here.

Tehol tries to reach out with his mind towards the birds to try and get a sense of what they are thinking, and to see why there are no land animals on the island.

Tehol actually attained his objective. From the birds overhead he can see people to the northwest hidden in the small foothills immediately before the huge mountains begin. He also sees what appears to be some sort of ship in the sky, albeit not one he’s familiar with. It has no top masts, just one on each side for maneuvering.
The cultists or whatever they are we’re heavily armed and even had a small field gun that was slightly smaller than Little Nigel.

Tehol makes a mental note of both the airship and the ambush in question, he tries to guess how much longer it would take for the airship or whatever it was to arrive at the island. While also making sure he had an accurate location for the troops in hiding so he could relay the information to the group without messing up just what hill they where hiding behind.

The airship isn’t on a direct route anywhere; it’s flight pattern is fairly erratic and doesn’t seem tailored to any pattern that makes sense to him.

Tehol grumbles to Korobas as he makes his way down to the base. Once there, he tells Kjell, Hernia, Dr Steller, and supposedly Nigel (Though not directly, just indirectly) about the ambush in the hills and the airship erratically flying towards the island.

The master wizard has only one question. "What the fuck is an airship?"

Tehol looks at the master wizard and replies simply, "I have no idea, it looked like a ship, and it was floating in the sky without a sail on the top. It also had two sail like contraptions sticking out of the side like wings." He claims sticking his arms out like an early aero-plane and waving them around frantically like a bird in a mock simulation of the thing he saw.

"Hrmmm..." Herneiros scratched his beard, wondering if he can kill it.
"Never saw anything like that in the Mist... could be friends of our enemies..."
He looked at the others, wondering if they had ever seen anything like that before.

Everything in the locker is radiating magic, and the walls, the floor, and the bed. The necklace is enchanted with some form of divination magic. "Everything in here's glowing, too. The necklace is enchanted, but it's divination...be a bit odd for a curse." Ceutinde picked it up, gingerly. "Well, I can say with some confidence it's not going to slice your throat or strangle you. But I'd like to see if anyone else can figure out what it does do, first."
