"Oh." Silvia sighed and decided to drop Roxanne's breathy voice. What was the point? She ate a mouthful of egg as she considered her response.
"The dress came from Madam Phoebe's establishment. She's one of my favourite dressmakers. And for what it's worth, I didn't even know this place existed until last night. Clubs for wealthy businessmen aren't usually my kind of place. Too snooty, most of the time." She shrugged and took a mouthful of bacon.
"This place is beautiful, there's no doubt about it, but I won't be coming back, even someone wished to invite me."

“I’ll have to visit her,” the woman said. “I’m sure I’ll see you again. Ladies like yourselves can never stay away from a good mystery. You’re clearly a talented actress. Your carriage should be here soon. I hope you have a pleasant day,” she concluded as she went back to eating.

Ceutinde gave Jon one last wave as she left, making a mental note to look into the dagger. Upon spotting Silvia, she walked over, calling, "Morning, stranger! Hope your evening was as successful as mine. Oh, hello, Cerberus."

Cerberus just smiled at the elf’s arrival and nodded acknowledgment but she let Silvia answer.

"I'm sure I will have a good day," Silvia said. "It started well - please tell your cook that the breakfast was exquisite."
She smiled at Ceutinde. "My evening was fine," she said. "Perhaps you'll tell me about yours on the way home."

"Oh, I'll give you all the details. Who'd you bunk with?" Not waiting for an answer, she turned to Cerberus and asked, "And Cerberus darling, speaking of the way home, when is the first carriage?"

“About ten minutes,” she said. “If you have anything to pack do feel free to now. They await your command.” The older woman finished her jam and rose. “It’s been a pleasure ladies. I hope to see you again.” With that she headed out.

Silvia relaxed once Cerberus had gone. "I'm more than ready to leave," she whispered. "My evening was...uneventful. Are you going to visit again?"

Ceutinde shrugged at Cerberus's suggestion, having brought her shoes and dress and nothing else. "Mine was quite eventful. Five or six events, I think. Yes, I think I shall. Have to wait and see if Jon comes a'calling first, though."

Silvia burst out laughing. "Well done! That sounds like quite the night. I could have had you know who, but I wasn't interested, and nobody else offered. I spent the knight in Canelo's cabana but he was otherwise occupied. He was actually quite gentlemanly about it."
She put an arm around Ceutinde and leaned close in case anyone was hovering. "I couldn't stand to be in Gregori's presence any longer, so I feared I learned less than I might have. I'd have slapped him for sure if he touched me again without permission. Though I might have had the pirate, in other circumstances."

"Think nothing of it. I'm sure we've found out plenty for the moment. And might be we can bring you back sometime in different skin to have another go at Jean."

"Yes, definitely. I've never had a chance with a pirate, and I can't imagine he'd turn me down as myself." Silvia grinned broadly. "Roxanne can't ever come back, anyway. Cerberus knows I'm not some brainless rich girl," she whispered.

"Couldn't keep your smarts hidden under a little illusion. What did she say? Was she angry?"

"No, she said someone spoke against killing me." Silvia shrugged. "I like the drinks and the beach but the people aren't really my type, so it's not a great loss. But you could do great things here, I think. Have them all wrapped around your little finger within a year, probably."

"I was already wrapped around a couple of Jon's fingers." She answered with a wink. "But I'll try to have Silvia back as a guest if I should get the opportunity. You might like it better, not having to play-act the whole time."
