Konrad hurries after the last wizard, while yelling “I want him alive!” at the top of his lungs, but all the beast master likely heard was the howling wind.

"I've never tried," Silva admitted. "I'll keep an eye out for trouble, while you do that. Unless you need me to do anything else?" She asked Demeter. She remembered that she still hadn't been able to ask Ceutinde about the scale. "Should we do something about the Tranquility?" Demeter turned to Justine. “Run belowdecks and tell the gunner to fire at seven notches elevation and...” she looked at the rock wall and pursed her lips in thought a second, “make it thirty nine degrees. Then you might want to grab some swordsmen and get ready for a fight. They know me well enough to understand that if they don’t kill us tonight as soon as these winds settle I’m going to blow all of them right out of the goddam water.”

Justine nodded and immediately rushed below to relay the orders. She found the first gunman she could. “Captain says uhhh seven elevation, thirty nine degrees.” She had no idea what it meant but she did the best she could.

As he charged back up to the battle at hand, Nigel felt a disturbance in the force, as if someone was about to fuck up his cannon.

The volcanic cap battle round 2:
As Kjell and Konrad and Tehol rush after the wizard and cannon pirates, they are bit by reality. More of the vicious criminals are assembling at Priscillas and the crew of Lamas’s vessels are trying to bring more cannons up. They’re probably going to need some reinforcements to deal with this.
The wizard is still sprinting away but Konrad and Tehol catch up to him about a dozen meters from the pirates hauling the cannon. The swordsmen move to join the fight and it’s about to get bloody.

Silvia walked along the deck of the ship and looked over at the Tranquility to check that the other ship was safe.

She doesn’t see the effect but above deck Silvia and Demeter watch as the ramps leading down the tavern side collapse under blast after blast. “That’ll take them days to fix,” she said. “You all need to go help your people. Take whoever you need.”

Justine emerged from below a bit dazed. She had covered her ears but the cannon fire had still been deafening. She approached Demeter again and gave a bare approximation of a salute. It was sloppy and awful, but the best she could do. “I think I need a minute before chasing down more pirates,” she admitted and put her hand against the rail to steady herself as much As possible on a ship in a hurricane.

Demeter nodded. “They’re only way down now is through you all. I’ll send a dozen sailors with you and we’ll have twice that here to make sure everyone’s favorite sexpot doesn’t get violated. That promise changes somewhat if they get the guns from their ships up on that hill though because we’ll turn rapidly into sitting ducks and our only shot will be cutting the ropes and risking the storm...”

She stared at Demeter, trying to take in the severity of the situation. It was severe.
“No, I’ll come.” She stood up properly and checked her weapons. “Let’s see how old Nigel and Konrad are faring.”
The blood and gore had been washed from her in the rain. It was time for round two.

Justine could barely hear now with the ringing in her ears from the cannon fire and the roar of the storm. Either way, she understood Silvia’s gist and grinned.
She gestured to the sailors Demeter had summoned and shouted, “Onward!”

Awoken from her nap, Thalia finally appeared on deck and looked around, quickly assessing the situation she looked towards Nigel was running and sighed,
She ran off the and followed him up. Because. Why not.
she paused and held up a hand, her eyes glowing as she created a 10 ft wide, 50 ft long wall along the cliff to thwart the cannons trying to shoot the ships.
