Wizard: casts Haunt

Kjell’s sword is knocked from her grasp as her opponent blocks it and she slips, but the overconfident adversary steps right into an uppercut axe blow that cleaves into his armpit. He staggers back at her surprise assault. His return blow is parried inches from the elf’s face.

Tehol knocks his opponent down and beats him half to death. The half he doesn’t beat to death he feeds to Korabas.

Konrad and his opponent close with each other and the slippery ground is quite unlike a fancy dueling yard. Konrad takes a nasty cut to the side and a kick to the ribs, but he catches the man’s leg before he can bring it back down and jams his blade into the calf, enjoying the man’s guttural scream of pain.

The wizard catches his breath behind the cabin and his hands glow a lime green. Everyone on the field before him starts seeing strange black skilled demons before them, even his erstwhile alloes, and a paranormal dread falls over the fighters

Going up the ramp Nigel’s immense bulk proves his undoing as he strains a board on the ramp and tumbles backwards, only barely catching onto the struts holding up the top haberdashery. Silvia watched her feet carefully and makes ot up while Justine is apparently blinded by seeing her dimebook hero fall as she slides on a blood slick and has to extricate herself as well.

The combatants on top see the rain freezing drop by drop, in seconds forming a colossal wall of ice that freezes the front half of the cannon, even.

The crewmen from the tranquility and odyssey stop to help the two slipped members as two carpenters begin nailing up supports to prevent falls. Even the young Zavier is in to support the team with his golden bauble and a short cutlass, looking like a lantern wielding pirate himself.

Wizard: fails footing test

Kjell unleashed her axe on her prime opponent’s head several times, leaving her covered in steaming hot gore. More and more people are rushing out from Priscillas and from the pirate ships and she has to ready herself to face them even as strange figures dance in her vision.

Tehol helps Konrad deal with his foe by sticking a blade into his lumbar, letting the lord finish the job with a throat slash. The wizard seeks to run away but Thalia’s rapidly growing ice wall has left frozen shards everywhere and his right leg flies into the air above his head and he lands on the rock with a satisfying crunch.

Makes it up tamp after next round

Kjell grabbed her sword and Silvia and some of the armed sailors ran to her and Konrad and Tehol. A general melee swiftly ensues as Konrad is tackled by a giant man and the pair roll on the windy soaking rock. The man’s breath is even worse than the feeling of his granite-like fist smashing into his face. The Lord of Wolfhaven retaliates with his coin purse, bringing a new meaning to the phrase “smacking them with your wallet”, and the heavy coins knock out two teeth and somehow improves the halitosis assaulting his nostrils.

Tehol has gone to help but two men rush him and his new pet takes exception, fangs latching onto heels and ripping into leather jerkins. Tehol slipped and a dagger came whistling toward his chest and he has to drop his blade to grab his assailant’s wrist and they collapse onto the hard stone, fighting over the knife, rolling over and over, and the pirate cursed and grunted as the beastmaster twisted the blade back around and started driving it slowly into his ribs. It caught for a second on the ro cage but the savage man rotated it just a bit and it slide along the bone and popped into his lung cavity. He spat frothy blood from his mouth into Tehol’s face but with a sudden effort the blade scratched the rock beneath him as it came out his back.

Kjell and Silvia rush back into it as the battle continues. Kjell still sees her demonic visions but she wings her axe into a woman’s face and then charged to bring her down. She takes a pommel strike to the upper ribs for her trouble. Silvia and a short spearman come into conflict and with the darkness of night, the wind and the rain her usual footwork is mostly worthless. She used her dagger to ward the thrusting polearm away then caught the man’s thigh. Her head suddenly blanks and she feels a strange and uncontrollable compulsion to sprint directly toward the brothel.

As the battle waxed and waned in intensity Nigel Thornheart and Justine arrive with Thalia following closely behind
