Ceutinde laughed in disbelief. "I've seen armor that can patch itself back together. But an entire ship? This is amazing!"

“Hope they’re stealthier than they look,” said Kjell without much conviction. “I’ll go see if the others got held up. They’ve been investigating this ship for a while now.”

"Alright." Silvia realised that the women had been gone for a while. "Good luck. Nigel, Thalia and I will hold the fort, so to speak."
She stretched out her legs and began sharpening her dagger, just for something to do.

Ceutinde laughed in disbelief. "I've seen armor that can patch itself back together. But an entire ship? This is amazing!" “If there were people on this ship...do you think they would patch themselves together too?” Justine hadn’t seen any corpses, but one could never be too certain. “Elise, ever seen anything like it?”

“No,” Elise said. “But we need to get off. Something isn’t right,” she said. She looked about. “Even the cannonballs!” She pointed. “That’s what it is!” The two other women saw the cannonballs lifting from their places and heading back out where they had entered from. “This is some sort of chronomancy!”

Justine’s eyes widened. “Damnit, Let’s hope Demeter moved the Odyssey!” She started running back on deck, careful to stay out of the potential path of any of the cannonballs or stray bits of wood as everything began crawling back into the place as the ship began to find a way to turn back time.

Kjell looked on as Silvia began sharpening her dagger instead of maybe offering to go along, best shots as they were and all that. “Cool,” she said. “Cool, cool, cool.”
She left in the direction of the warship, keeping her eyes open for potential trouble and attempting to stay out of plain sight where possible.

Kjell saw the ship’s masts forming back together as bits of wood rose from the sea and reformed. The three women who had gone onboard rush out the exit and Justine nearly gets hit by a flying log. Ceutinde gets caught up in a rope for a moment but manages to free herself before it turns into a cosplay of most nights at her brothel. The trio manage to make it off even as the gigantic warship begins sailing backwards towards the entrance to the bay.

Kjell stopped in her tracks at the sight and blinked a few times, then tilted her head slowly to the side like an extremely confused puppy who could’ve sworn the stick had flown that way but was in fact nowhere to be found. Where’d it go??

Justine reached back and grabbed Ceutinde’s hand. Unfortunately Elise was on her own. Sad. She probably didn’t notice though as they dodged several dangerous things before they were finally back on solid ground. “You two alright?” She asked, panting and scanning the beach. She noticed Kjell and waved her over.

Ceutinde took the hand without thinking after shaking her leg free from the rope, running as fast as she could until her feet hit sand. She sat down hard, panting, and stared at the ship. "I'm fine. Just fine. Beginning to understand how so many reclaimers need extensive therapy."

“Yeah, guess I needed it before I became a reclaimer.” Justine ran a hand through her hair and watched the ship from safety.

Elise panted and then looked at the strange warship then just shook her head in bewilderment and started heading back toward the base camp. She nodded at Kjell in a perfunctory manner but her head was clearly working in overdrive to process what she had just witnessed.
In the bay the warship sailed south and passed the Odyssey, which turned to face the cease but held its fire.

"This should do..."
They had stopped half a mile from the spot. Herneiros began carefully selecting an arrow from his quiver.
"I won't be paying good attention to my surroundings for the next minute. Please keep me from dying in meantime."
The sorcerer kissed an arrow and aimed it almost directly above them, with it sailing in the correct direction hopefully... with this arrow flew a fragment of his consciousness, a sliver of his spirit that might peer down from above at the world below. The hunter's eyes became a milky white almost as soon as he had leased the arrow...
