The ground rumbled again with another tremor. “I don’t know,” he admitted. “Without communicating with Searshe I don’t have a fifth the knowledge I can usually draw on. I think we need that dagger for the temple though...” he shook his head. “I think. Hard to remember.” He smiled at Kjell. “We’ll figure out how to deal with her. The dragon can if need be. Those tricks don’t work on her.”

"Great," she said, but obviously didn't have a better (or any) plan to offer at the moment. "We'll burn that bridge when we get there. Again." She gave him a wry smile, inspected the allegedly magical gun once more and headed over to where Thalia was, immediately reverting to Elvish. "...and now the earth is shaking," she muttered to herself as she walked. "Tehol gave me this and said you made it seem like it was magical. Is that so?" she asked the sorcerer, showing her the gun.

Juliette slipped the statuette back into her pouch and returned the ring to her finger. The staff...well she didn’t have much use for that. She thrust it out at Thalia. “Want this? Some kind of rain staff. Got it off the wizard over there.” She gestured with her head in the direction of the corpse.

Seeing a line for the judgemental mage of the party to identify the other objects, Tehol goes to the senior sorceress to help identify the other items. "We found this armor in the cave, could you help me see what enchantments were placed on it?"

Silvia hung around waiting for her loot to be identified as well. She didn't mind which sorceress did the identifying and was happy to wait her turn.

Elise brushes her hair from her face and held the dagger a moment. She frowned a moment. “Where the hell did this come from?!” She asked. “And how did you of all people get a hold of it?”

“Well, we chased that witch from the hourglass into the cave. Then she did some time magic stuff leaving us in the past with a couple dwarves. They called it an Estos Blade and it’s what’s keeping the dragons from interfering with the island.” He starts to explain. “Then I took it from the alter and we came back here. It did nick me and draw a little blood though. I guess as payment for taking it from the alter if that can happen.” He finishes off.

Elise spat on the ground. “Well whatever it is, it’s stronger than my identifying spell,” She admitted. “I’ve never seen that happen before. Whatever it is...” she frowned. The earth shook again. “Whatever it is, it’s dangerous. We should get rid of it.”

“Dragon boy over there.” Tehol says motioning over time Zavier, “Thinks it may be necessary to help open up the vault. I’ll hold off on throwing it away yet, will just be careful not to use it for literally anything.”

Herneiros returned from taking a piss. "There you are, Tehol. I am glad to see you're safe and not the unwilling concubine of a sentient squid god's overly ambitious bastard spawn. I hear it is most unpleasant."
That was how Herneiros said he was happy to see someone alive. It was meant to be more joyous than it probably came out, but his eyes conveyed his sense of relief well enough.

“Yes, the ground does shake without magic from time to time, but best be safe..,,” she replied in elvish, she knelt down and put a hand to the floor to try and see if the rumblings were natural or not, since she herself could cause earthquakes she wondered if there was a difference.
She looked to Justine, as she’d never met Juliet, and nodded, going to common, “this was from an enemy sorcerer?”
Once she finished inspecting it, she touched the gun and tried to detect magic on it, to see what it would do, “I hope one of it’s abilities is to not need bullets, unless it came with ammunition, or you have some that will work,” what a coincidence that would be..

The staff has a faint glow of wind magic, perhaps a touch of water. It isn’t particularly strong but Melreth has never let her make her own staff and now she had two. The second stave was distinctly alien to her, its magic wild and difficult to pin down, as some of the other auras she had recently sensed were. It would take research to identify. The gun, however, didn’t take long. Enchanting guns was a notoriously painful process; unlike a sword whose blade was the primary recipient of the spells because it was of the only value...what single piece of a gun could be enchanted to help? In this case, the gunsmith and enchanted had clearly worked closely together; the barrel and hammer were enchanted to silence, and the barrel had been ensorcelled to allow shots fired from it to charge with electricity on their way out to add extra power to each blast.

“What you have here, is some pretty nice work, from what I can tell, there an enchantment round, here ish” Thalia didn’t know guns at all but motioned India the area of the barrel and hammer “to create a silencing effect and around here” she pointed right to the barrel “to allow for shots charged with electricity to come out, if you can fix it, that is.” She said smiling,
“thank you fir this Justine, if no one else can use it, I will happily take it off your hands.” She was more interested in the green staff though, that she’d need to spend time playing with.

At the description, Kjell’s face gradually lit up like a child’s at Christmas with an exceptionally good haul (maybe not quite puppy levels, but like a new console or a year’s worth of video games). “Badass,” she said, grinning. “Will it all stay intact if I try to fix it up?” She didn’t really know how magic worked.
