“I don’t see why not it’s the individual components that at enchanted, so so long as you don’t change those then it’s not a problem, but I can give it a look over when you’re done and make sure the enchantments are in tact so you’re not caught in aware, if you like.” She explained with a nod, not sure why she was so excited but then she didn’t get guns.

“thank you fir this Justine, if no one else can use it, I will happily take it off your hands.” She was more interested in the green staff though, that she’d need to spend time playing with. Juliette’s lip curled into a sneer. “Never call me by that puling child’s name. She is gone now, and should be for a long, long time.” After a moment she sighed and cracked her neck. “But i suppose you’ve only met my worthless sister before. You may call me Juliette.”

“I’d appreciate that,” she said. “Thank you.”
She looked from Thalia to... Juliette, apparently, and decided to remove herself from this conversation, nodding at them before heading off.

“Yes, the ground does shake without magic from time to time, but best be safe..,,” she replied in elvish, she knelt down and put a hand to the floor to try and see if the rumblings were natural or not, since she herself could cause earthquakes she wondered if there was a difference. She looked to Justine, as she’d never met Juliet, and nodded, going to common, “this was from an enemy sorcerer?” Once she finished inspecting it, she touched the gun and tried to detect magic on it, to see what it would do, “I hope one of it’s abilities is to not need bullets, unless it came with ammunition, or you have some that will work,” what a coincidence that would be.. 164 (1 experience) Thalia is quite in tune with the planet, and after a minute or so of concentrating she finds the inverse of what may have been expected. Something magical had been stopping the earthquakes. This island sits on a gigantic convergence of fault lines she can feel deep below.

Silvia strode casually over to Elise and smiled at her in an almost-friendly manner.
"I know you and I have had our differences, but I'd like to put our quarrels behind us, if you're willing. I'd offer my hand in friendship, but as you can see, I'm rather burdened right now." She indicated the weapons she carried.

Elise smiles sweetly. “Why my dear, I hardly think about you at all.” She peered at her little hoard. “Someone’s been busy. I dare think this would be a good song. Birds and their shiny things, such a combination.” She picked up the dragon’s sword. “This is something,” she said, all trace of sarcasm gone suddenly. “Ancient...” she frowned. “I’ll need to study this.” She looked at the lockpicks. “Those are called Lockbanes,” she said, pointing to the lockpicks. “And that ring...” she peered at it a minute. “It’s enchanted against fire. If it wasn’t obvious, I’d say these poor corpses were really trying to hunt dragons.” She laughed at the absurdity of the idea.

Silvia grinned. She had expected a fairly ordinary ring that she could sell for profit, but a ring that guarded against fire was much better than she dared hope for. She decided to keep it.
"I'm grateful for your assistance. I'll buy you a drink or two if you like, when we're safely home." She kept the offer casual so there was no pressure upon Elise to accept if she preferred not to. "Perhaps I'll honour you with a verse in my song, when the time comes to write the story of this quest."
She slipped the ring on her finger and put the lockpicks back in her pocket. Then she headed over to Nigel.
"Can you spare a little space in your cannon's cart, Thornheart? I'm carrying rather too many blades at the moment and I'd like to have some hands free for combat, when the time comes. I'll be sure to write a verse or two in your name if you'll do me this kindness."

Nigel placed two fingers in his mouth and whistled. "Look at you lot splitting up loot when there are still battles to be fought and we are losing sunlight like a bunch of amateur adventurers," he scolded them, clearly disappointed. "And after that piss poor excuse for discipline in the last battle. Breaking ranks left and right like this is a game. Why if it weren't for Little Nigel here the lot of you would be dead and there would be no songs to sing."
He patted the cannon affectionately, before taking a large red sack out of the cannon cart like he was Santa. In gilded gold letters across the bag it said "Party Loot."
"Loot in the sack. Mighty Thornhearts divvy up spoils at the end of an adventure. I'll not have this excursion undone by someone stabbed in their sleep over a cursed ring or a fool discovering they have a flaming sword mid-battle next to the gunpowder reserves," he explained, speaking from obvious personal experience, opening the sack wide for everyone to deposit their items. "At the end of the quest we determine the valuation of the items and their properties and sell them, divvying up a portion to cover the burial or provide for the families of anyone that fell along the way. If any member of the party decides they want an item for their own personal use, they pay for it out of their share of the remaining pot."
After the stern lecture he turned to Silvia and added, "Leave a few hands free for me later and I'll have you singing far more than a verse or two. Aha!"

Tehol looks at him. “So you can keep everything? Here you can have these though.” He says handing Nigel the paladin sword and the Dwarf armor since no one could actually use them keeping the dagger for himself. Might as well make use of the bag as free storage so he didn’t have to carry them around everywhere.

Ceutinde stepped forward to intercede, as she so often had at the HoP&RfOH, when Nigel pulled out his sack.
"Nigel, darling, there's still fighting ahead of us. I know I'm not speaking from a place of experience, but if these items give us an advantage, it seems best to take it, not leave them in a bag doing nothing. We can throw them in the pot once we're safe and sound, back on the ship."

"We'll see about that," she replied, and favoured him with a saucy grin. "A word to the wise, though, being scolded like a child is a sure way to kill my ardour."
She put the greatsword in the red sack. "I've no use for this one, so I'm happy for anyone who can wield it to take it, else we'll sell it for a tidy profit."
She put in the knives in as well, but the ring remained on her finger, and the lockpicks, the coins and the necklace remained in her pockets, which she always ordered with extra depth at the seamstress, for occasions like this. Most members of the party might not even know she had them.
She contemplated the dragon claw sword for a moment. "I'm not willing to share this, I'm afraid. It looks like it's far better quality than my regular blade, so it's time to upgrade. If I don't get on with this one I'll happily donate it to the party sack and reclaim my original blade. For now though, you'll have to be content with old faithful."
She put her ordinary sword in the sack and slid the new sword into her belt.

Nigel gave Tehol a severe look, clearly affronted. "Mr. Nookington, Nigel Thornheart is no thief, and if you affront my honor in such a manner again you will find yourself once more overly familiar with my fist." As Nigel closed his armored fist, the beastmaster could see the Adventurer Extraordinaire had the letters N-I-G-E-L etched in stylized font into each of the knuckles. Technically the L was on the thumb, so a punch left the more informal NIGE, but it got the point across. "I have merely seen enough adventuring parties torn apart by material gain and magical boons, losing focus on the task at hand. So I will expect that dagger at the end of the voyage or you will compensate the party for its value."
He turned his attention to Ceutinde with a pointed, but much less hostility. "In my experience, an adventurer is not much of one if he puts more faith the knick knacks and trinkets he finds along the way than the tried and tested gear he brought with him." He gave a beleaguered sigh. "But as long as all loot goes in the sack when we get back to the ship and its value is divvied up fairly, we can hold onto the claimed pieces for now. But we all fought, bled, and killed for the loot discovered. I will not have it said one individual's efforts were worth more than another because they simply found it first, as that will only encourage others to shirk their duties in search for baubles while the rest of us do the work, a conflict of interest I wont abide."
Last, he turned to Silvia, hating feeling like a beancounter. This would be a chapter he left out of the book. "Then I expect you to either turn it in at the end of the voyage, along with the ring and any other items you found for fair disbursement, or compensate the party for its value out of your remaining share of the spoils." He flashed a licentious smile then. "Or perhaps I can pay the share for your new baubles out of my cut and you can work it off in sweat. Huzzah!"

“Losing focus by arguing over loot like we are doing right now?. This is a discussion for another time, everyone keep what you have and we can decide what is happening with it all later.” Thalia said, losing patience.

“Is there a cursed ring? I am very interested in that item.” Juliette broke away from Thalia and moved toward Nigel and the sack. “I’m afraid I have absolutely nothing at all to put in that sack. Every item that would help someone else has been given to them. I feel such items would be important to our next battle anyway.”
She blew him a kiss. “C’mon, Nigel, loosen up.“ If it registered, this was the first time Justine’s voice had ever referred to him as Nigel rather than Mr Thornheart.
