"I thought we were going to find a way to open the front door, but we know they got in so I thought we'd try to find a way to link up with them, if it exists. Besides, can we afford to leave any monsters we find alive?"

“They got in?” Kjell blinked a few times. “Then why the fuck are we crawling this dungeon from two ends?”

"They were already in when I found Elise." Silvia shrugged airily. "Never mind that, I'm coming back up." She looked at Korabas. "Hydra, you'd best come too."
She climbed back up, not without a feeling of regret. She really wanted to kill the demon. Maybe Nigel would be more easily persuaded.

Elise blinked a few times and then shook her head. “Soooo...back to the others?” She said. “I’m trying to figure out what was hurting Kjell...it doesn’t make any sense.”

“Yes, let’s do that,” she said in response to Elise. “If we’ve found a shortcut to the vault, I’m sure the others would like to know.“
She waited for everyone else to leave first to make sure Damien wouldn’t go back to the bent door and release something they didn’t currently have the resources to deal with.

Korabas sensing Kjell’s intent helps herd the thief friend of master back towards main group.

Damien chuckled, "You guys go ahead. There is something I want to check into after you leave. Don't worry... no one will see me." He walked toward the prisoner door.

Elise’s rod begins changing colors rapidly as they head toward their exit. “Multiple security breaches detected,” a disembodied voice from the rod said. “Full lunar sanitization process required to remove endemic Abyssal corruption. Synchronization estimated in two hours.”
She looked at it. “That doesn’t sound good.”

“What in the fuck, was that Imperial?” Kjell asked Elise.

Elise continued hurrying. “Maybe,” she said. “But it means that something is going to destroy this place and soon. Whatever magic they had protecting it is starting to fail apparently.”

“Is this because we opened these doors?”

Elise just shook her head and pointed the rod at the inanimate suits of armor. She barked something out in Old Imperial and the golem headed back towards where the demon had been spawning. “I have no idea. Maybe the others did something.” The reached the broken tube and she went right in, much more enthusiastically than she had the first time.

“The rod does that?” she asked as the sentinel walked off, but when she looked back, Elise had already yeeted. With Korabas (presumably), she ushered the others back into the tunnel as well so they could go around the ziggurat and catch up with others.
(Roll for shanghaiing Damien if needed)

Silvia had hung back, reluctant to forgo her epic battle. After a moment, appalled by her rare moment of indecision, she turned back towards the trapdoor.
"See you all when I'm a legend," she said.
She climbed down the hole once more.

Kjell opened her mouth to say something but as the bard made off again, decided against it. There were people somewhere else in this building she cared slightly more about, that also went for the thief.
She turned and followed Elise back through the tunnel to get to the other thread whenever Bradley saw fit.
