“Sorry!” she yelled angrily. “I’m fine!”
She turned to Justine and touched her arm to get her attention as she shouted over the storm, “Your friend the bard ran that way.” She pointed to the opposite direction of where they’d all come from. “Why?”

“Where’s Silvia,” Konrad said suddenly. “Hey JUSTINE? Where’s Silvia? I saw her run towards Pricilla’s earlier. Has anyone seen her? Nigel? Kjell?”

While they all argue over the whereabouts of Silvia, the pirates flee to the ships. The strong, armed, wooden ships. They are built for a battle and to absorb and dish out damage. They are, however, quite sadly flammable, and when Thalia focuses her wrath upwards towards the clouds themselves, the hundreds of thousands of little raindrops become something else, a baptism for the wooden sinners in fire. Masts light even in the winds and the screams of roast buccaneer will haunt the weaker stomached of the party for years. They dive into the oceans to be crushed upon the rocks or try jumping onto a dock that’s also turned into a raging inferno. In four minutes and eight seconds, it’s as though they had never been.

Nigel looked around and let out an exasperated sigh, before punching each of the surrendered pirates hard enough to knock them out, as this seemed a perfectly acceptable non-murder hobo option for dealing with unarmed brigands.
He watches the ships burn in the distance and turns to stare at Talia, as if he has expected her to be the adult in the group.
“You know, normally I would relish having to handle this many young women at once,” he grumbled, as he trudged towards the brothel, the only time in Nigel’s entire life he had been annoyed heading towards a whore house. “But it’s a lot less like juggling pussy and a lot more like herding cats.” He considered adding in an Aha! but his heart just wasn’t in it.

Konrad's voice seemed to snap Justine back to reality. She looked around and sure enough, they were right. "Fuck," she muttered under her breath (it wasnt ladylike to swear. "We've got to help her!"
"Kjell, you look awful. Go back to the ship for Ceutinde. She'll put you to rights," she amended, giving her murder twin a nod.
She leaned into Nigel. "Care to rescue some fair maidens? I mean, they're definitely not maidens...but they'll be grateful."

“Wolfhaven, why don’t you escort Kjell back to the ship,” Nigel suggested, with a pointed glance at his injured side. “Make sure she gets some medical assistance. Don’t worry, I’ll leave a whore or two for you lad. You earned it.”

Konrad trudged along towards the brothel beside Justine and behind Nigel,, holding his injured side as he did so. Justine made to run again (as that was the theme of the day) but paused when she saw Konrad looking pained and clutching his side. She slowed down to keep pace with him, looking him over with an eye for his health rather than his form. "Are you alright? Do you need a hand?" She offered him one, but took it back since both of his were occupied. She scowled at Nigel when he offered whores.

Kjell looked to Nigel and Justine, confused. “What? That’s not my blood,” she said, wiping some of it off her face.

Nigel shrugged and continued to the brothel. He’d gotten enough people killed in his time from bad advice to nitpick anyone ignoring his good advice. They could take it or leave it as far as he was concerned.

We have to make sure Silvia is okay and deal with these slavers once and for all.”

“That’s the spirit!” Nigel nodded in respect. “Reminds me of your father. A foe without hate; a friend without treachery; a soldier without cruelty; a victor without oppression, and a man without fault....he said I was all of those things. A mighty fine judge of character, that one.”

Justine rolled her eyes and tried not to smirk. It was an amusing bit of levity though, and they needed it. She was getting tired. "I'll cover you if you need it. Fall back if things get too dicey."
